The State Security Service (SSS), early Monday arrested two
journalists working for Al-Mizan, a Hausa language newspaper.
Sources say the security operatives around 4am, stormed the
house of Saleh, the paper’s reporter, in at least eight cars. Saleh resides in
Rigasa, Kaduna.
He was reportedly manhandled alongside his wife. They were
both arrested and subsequently moved to the next destination.
The editor, Musa Awwal and his wife, who also received the
unexpected guests were also arrested after being maltreated.
